A Dream

1. Last night I dreamed about the face
which I met in a silent place
There was just dark and open space
I didn´t know where I´d seen the face

2. A nightingale was singing a song
I hadn´t seen the face for long
my heavy soul had wings that night
seeing the face shining so bright

3. What was the light shining on me?
I couldn´t find in my memory
the face was smiling on me and said
some words I could not not understand

4. And a sweet bird´s voice told me in the morning
that for the face I was mourning
and said we´ll meet one day again
there up above where´s no pain
